I am an artist at heart and find a great deal of pleasure visiting galleries and looking at paintings. To me the most appealing painting will invoke your imagination and make you consider feelings deeper then what we see on the surface. A year or so ago I wandered into one gallery I visit often and was pleasantly surprised to see a fantastic artist painting a very large canvas. I had admired the work of Lani Imre who shows at Adyen Gallery in Vancouver many times and was spell bound to watch her work.
